‘It’s been more than just improving my fitness and loosing weight; I’ve simply enjoyed being out in the open air in all weathers which has given my life a real buzz – thanks Mark!’ SB, Thames Ditton
goBuzz Nordic Walking is a great way to exercise with like-minded people in the great outdoors such as Richmond Park. Mark is fully licensed to take groups walking in the Royal Parks which means his insurance, qualifications and risk assessments have all been certified and checked.
New Grading System
The grade (number after title of walk) equates to the maximum speed (mph) that we would achieve during that walk. It is also the minimum speed that someone joining that walk should be able to maintain for the duration of that walk. It doesn’t mean to say that we will be walking constantly at that speed. But we will endeavour to get to that speed as conditions permit.

Next Learn to Nordic Walk Courses – Friday 12 or Saturday 13 January 2018
Normally people who start Nordic Walking like to do a technique course first. The course consists of 4 x one hour lessons spread over 4 weeks, gradually building up the technique and use of the poles. There is a Friday morning course starting on 12 January (at 11:00 hrs) and a Saturday morning course on 13 January (at 10:45 hrs) both starting from Kingston Gate car park in Richmond Park. If you can’t make one Friday you can attend the Saturday lesson instead (and vice versa).
